When I first found out that the Body Boost Bed was going to be available at work I wasn’t sure how I felt about it. I thought how can laying on a bed under flashing lights help my sore legs?
I am currently training for my first marathon and was having significant problems with my legs due to the large amount of running I was doing and my running technique not being 100%. I had just missed my 24km weekend run, which was going to be my longest run ever. I was starting to feel down and question my ability to get through the training and the big run on race day.
I had started seeing a Physiotherapist and he was fantastic but it was taking time for my body to repair from the damage I had done. I felt like time was something I didn’t have. My boss managed to convince me to give the Body Boost Bed a try and I’m so glad I did!
Since starting my regular sessions on the Body Boost Bed, my Physiotherapist is amazed at the progress I have made in loosening up and repairing the damage I had done. I find my session’s relaxing and I can actually feel the tingling as the LED light works to help repair the damaged cells. I have managed to continue my running training and I have completed my longest runs ever – 26km and 30km.I feel like I’m back on track and one step closer to crossing the finish line at the Marathon in September.
